Deborah Shaddy, MS, LCPC, TEP Director, Sophia Center, LLC Hudson Valley Psychodrama Institute Faculty. Deborah Shaddy, MS, LMHP, LCPC, TEP has over 25 years of experience as a psychotherapist, educator, consultant. She fell in love with psychodrama while obtaining her Master’s degree from Creighton University in Omaha, NE. This began a passion for the power of experiential methods, developed through psychodrama and Virginia Satir’s Process Community. Deborah is the founder of the Sophia Center, LLC, a psychotherapy, training, and consulting practice, currently located in the greater Kansas City area. She has brought her skills to individuals, divorcing families, Fortune 500 companies, colleges and universities and religious communities. Her primary area of expertise is in healing trauma and in transforming relationships with self, with families and others. She is a senior faculty member at the Hudson Valley Psychodrama Institute and additionally presents at local and national conferences. Deborah served two terms on the ASGPP Executive Council from 2011 through 2017 and was elected in 2021 to serve a three-year term as Vice President.
